What is IPM?
IPM (Integrated Program in Management) is a 5-year dual-degree program offered by top business schools like IIMs, TAPMI, and other prestigious institutes. It combines undergraduate (BBA/BMS) and postgraduate (MBA) studies into a single, seamless curriculum, designed for students right after Class 12.
Introduced by IIM Indore in 2011, the program is now offered by 7 IIMs (Indore, Rohtak, Jammu, Bodh Gaya, Ranchi, Amritsar, and Shillong). Admissions are through the IPMAT (Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test), a national-level entrance exam testing quantitative, verbal, and logical reasoning skills.*

IIM ROHTAK
The Indian Institute of Management Rohtak (IIM Rohtak), established in 2010, is a top-tier business school in Haryana. It launched its Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) in 2019 for students after Class XII. This five-year program combines a strong foundation in liberal arts, mathematics, and social sciences in the first three years, followed by an MBA-level curriculum in the final two years. Students can exit with a BBA after three years or continue to earn a dual BBA+MBA degree. Admission is through the IPM Aptitude Test and a personal interview.
IIM BODH GAYA
The Indian Institute of Management Bodh Gaya (IIM Bodh Gaya), established in 2015, offers a five-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) launched in 2021. The program awards a dual degree—BBA and MBA—and is designed for students after Class XII. The first three years focus on foundational subjects, followed by the MBA curriculum in the last two years. Admission is through the JIPMAT exam, with no personal interview. The IPM also includes rural immersion, international exposure, and entrepreneurship support.
IIM JAMMU
The Indian Institute of Management Jammu (IIM Jammu), established in 2016, launched its Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) in 2021. This five-year residential course awards a dual degree—BBA and MBA—and is open to students after Class XII. The first three years focus on foundational disciplines, followed by an MBA curriculum in the last two years. Admission is based on JIPMAT scores, with no interview required. The Indian Institute of Management Amritsar (IIM Amritsar), established in 2015, launched its Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) in 2025. This five-year residential program offers a dual degree: a Bachelor of Science in Quantitative Finance and Economics (BSQFE) after three years, and an MBA upon completion. The curriculum emphasizes quantitative finance, economics, and business management, integrating subjects like calculus, linear algebra, econometrics, and machine learning . Students engage in internships, including a Social Involvement Project in the second year and a corporate internship after the third year . Admission is based on the IPMAT Indore exam, followed by a personal interview, with a 60% weightage on the exam score, 35% on interview performance, and 5% on gender diversity . IIM SHILLONG
The Indian Institute of Management Shillong (IIM Shillong), established in 2007, introduced its five-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) for the 2025–30 batch. This residential program offers a dual degree: a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) after three years and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) upon completion. The initial three years focus on foundational subjects such as mathematics, statistics, economics, and social sciences, while the final two years align with the MBA curriculum.
