Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGS IPU) has exciting news for aspiring students. The university is all set to release the seat allotment results for the academic session 2023-24 today. This announcement encompasses the first round of counselling for various programs, including MBA, Integrated BA-LLB/BBA-LLB, Master of Law, and Bachelor of Technology. The seat allotment will be based on the merit of entrance exams such as CAT, CLAT UG, CLAT PG, and JEE Main Paper 1, respectively. GGSIPU Seat Allotment Details:

1. Master of Business Administration (CET Code 101): The seat allotment for the MBA program will be determined based on the merit of CAT 2022.
2. Integrated Bachelor of Arts – Bachelor of Law (Honours)/Integrated Bachelor of Business Administration – Bachelor of Law (Honours) (CET Code 121): For this program, seat allotment will be based on the merit of CLAT UG 2023.
3. Master of Law (CET Code 112): The seat allotment for the Master of Law program will depend on the merit of CLAT PG 2023.
4. Bachelor of Technology (CET Code 131): Students seeking admission to the Bachelor of Technology program will be allotted seats based on the merit of JEE Main Paper 1.

GGSIPU Management Quota Guidelines:

In addition to the seat allotment process, GGS IPU has also issued guidelines for the admission process under the Management Quota seats in its self-financing affiliated institutes. These guidelines are aimed at ensuring transparency in admissions. Approximately 10 percent of seats are reserved in around 90 affiliated institutes.

According to the guidelines, affiliated institutes must advertise admission notices for Management Quota seats in at least two leading newspapers, one in Hindi and another in English. The notice should also be displayed on the institute’s website and notice board, with a copy sent to the university for uploading on its website. The deadline for issuing the admission notice is July 5th.

The issuance of admission forms for Management Quota seats should provide candidates with 18 days to obtain and submit the forms, with the last date for submission being July 31st. The admissions process for Management Quota seats must be completed between August 1st and August 9th through transparent counselling based on the merit of the last qualifying examination.

To ensure fairness in the admission process, self-financing affiliated institutes must prioritize admissions based on the merit of the last qualifying exams mentioned in the university’s Admission Brochure. CET/CUET/National Level Test-qualified candidates should be given priority. If CET-qualified candidates are available, CUET-qualified candidates should not be considered for admission under the Management Quota.
