CLAT 2025

The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a national-level entrance test for admission into undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programs at 22 National Law Universities (NLUs) in India. It is one of the most competitive law entrance exams in the country, and is conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLU). CLAT is open to Indian nationals and foreign nationals who have completed their 12th standard or equivalent examination from a recognized board or university for CLAT.


 The consortium conducts the CLAT exam in December, usually on the first Sunday of the month. Considering this, CLAT 2025 will be held on December 1, in more than 131 exam centres across the country. The CLAT 2025 exam timings will be 2 pm to 4 pm.

CLAT 2025 Registration and Eligibility Criteria


Before registration, check whether you are eligible for the exam. CLAT 2025 eligibility includes qualifying the class 12 board exam with at least 45% (for General category). If you are from a reserved category like SC/ST, then your percentage should be 40% in class 12 board exam. There is no age limit to take CLAT UG exam.

CLAT registration is completely online. You just need to register from the official website which is, complete the application process and pay the fees within the specified date. The conducting body of CLAT keeps the registration window open for 90 days and the form correction window for 5-6 days.
