Marking Scheme for IPMAT | IIM Indore
The marking scheme for the IPMAT exam is designed to assess the candidates effectively. Here’s a breakdown:
- Correct Answers: +4 marks for each correct response.
- Incorrect Answers: -1 mark for each incorrect response.
- Unattempted Questions: Zero marks for questions left unanswered.
For short answer questions, there is no negative marking; candidates either receive +4 marks for a correct answer or zero for an incorrect or unattempted response.
It’s important to note that the exam has both sectional cutoffs and an overall cutoff. Aspirants must meet both criteria to pass the exam.
Candidates who qualify for these cutoffs will be invited for the Personal Interview (PI) round. Only those who successfully clear the interview will be eligible for admission.
