CUET Application Form 2024 Dates: Mark Your Calendar!

CUET (Common University Entrance Test) is your gateway to various undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Central Universities. To ensure you don’t miss any important dates, here’s the schedule for CUET 2024:

  • Registration Start Date: Tentatively, you can start your registration on February 7, 2024.
  • Registration End Date: The registration process is expected to conclude on March 15, 2024.
  • UG Exam Dates: CUET UG 2024 will be conducted between May 15 and May 31, 2024.
  • PG Exam Dates: CUET PG 2024 is scheduled to take place between March 11 and March 28, 2024.

Let’s get started with your CUET 2024 application. Follow these simple steps:

Step 1: Registration

  • Go to the official CUET 2024 website.
  • Click on the “New Registration” tab and carefully read the instructions.
  • Fill in your personal details, including your name, date of birth, gender, and nationality.
  • Provide your current and permanent address, mobile number, and email ID.
  • Create a password (8-13 characters with one special character, one uppercase character, one lowercase character, and one numeric character).
  • Select a security question and provide an answer.
  • Enter the security pin.
  • Verify the details.
  • Receive an OTP on your mobile number for verification.

Step 2: Application Process

Now that you’re registered, let’s move on to the application form:

Personal Details:
  • Review the details from the registration form.
  • Confirm your PwBD category, parent’s qualification, parent’s occupation, annual family income, and more.
  • Select your domicile state and indicate if you are diabetic.
  • Provide your place of residence, mode of preparation, and medium of studying in qualifying education.
  • Specify any other quota or category information.
Education Details:
  • Enter your Class 10 and Class 12 (or equivalent) details, including result status, passing year, marks obtained, and percentage scored.
Examination Centre Selection:
  • Choose two examination states and cities in order of preference.
University/Programme Selection:
  • Apply for one or more universities and programs from the dropdown menu.
  • You can change your selections by clicking on the “Update” tab.
Test Paper/Subject Selection:
  • Select a minimum of three and a maximum of ten subjects or papers.
  • Choose the medium or language of the question paper.
  • If you select fewer than ten subjects, use “NA: Not Applicable” for the remaining fields.

Step 3: Upload Photograph and Signature

At this stage, you’ll need to upload scanned photographs and signatures following these specifications:

  • Photograph: JPG/JPEG format, 10 KB – 200 KB.
  • Signature: 4 KB – 30 KB.
  • Category or PwBD Certificate: PDF format, 50 KB – 300 KB.

After uploading, verify all entered details and your email ID. You’ll receive an OTP in your email for verification.

Step 4: Application Fee Payment

Now, it’s time to pay the application fee. You can pay using Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI. The application fee varies based on your category, the number of subjects you select, and your chosen exam city. Here’s a breakdown:

  • Up to 3 Subjects: General (UR) – ₹750, OBC-NCL (EWS) – ₹700, SC/ST/PwBD/Third Gender – ₹650, Centres Outside India – ₹3,750.
  • Up to 7 Subjects: General (UR) – ₹1,500, OBC-NCL (EWS) – ₹1,400, SC/ST/PwBD/Third Gender – ₹1,300, Centres Outside India – ₹7,500.
  • Up to 10 Subjects: General (UR) – ₹1,750, OBC-NCL (EWS) – ₹1,650, SC/ST/PwBD/Third Gender – ₹1,550, Centres Outside India – ₹11,000.

Once your payment is successful, you’ll receive a confirmation message, and a PDF will be sent to your registered email ID.

CUET UG Help Centers

The NTA provides CUET UG Help Centers to assist applicants in filling and submitting their application forms. Each center has dedicated staff to help applicants, and there’s no additional cost for this assistance. With the increasing number of applicants each year, these help centers are invaluable.

CUET Application Form Correction

If you make a mistake in your CUET application, don’t worry; there’s a correction window. You can edit specific fields in your application form. Here’s how:

  • Visit the official CUET 2024 website.
  • Click on the “Sign In” tab.
  • Enter your application number, password, and security pin.
  • Click on the “Application Correction” tab.
  • Enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number and email address.
  • Make the necessary changes.

There are certain fields that are editable, like candidate name, parent names, date of birth, gender, category, PwBD status, and education details. However, fields like mobile number, email address, permanent and correspondence address cannot be changed after submission.
