DU 3-Year LLB Program
What is it?
The 3-year LLB at Delhi University is a graduate-entry law program. It’s designed for students who already hold a bachelor’s degree and now wish to pursue law as a professional course.

Eligibility
Must have completed a Bachelor’s degree (any stream) from a recognized university.
Minimum aggregate marks:
- 50% for General category
- 45% for OBC
- 40% for SC/ST
How to Get Admission?
Admission to DU’s 3-year LLB is through an entrance exam.
Earlier, DU conducted its own DU LLB Entrance Test, but now it is done through the CUET-PG (Common University Entrance Test – PG).
- Mode: Online (Computer-based test)
- Question Type: MCQs (General Knowledge, Legal Aptitude, English, Logical Reasoning)
- Weightage: 400 marks
After the entrance, DU releases a merit list, and candidates are allotted seats in one of its three law campuses:
- Campus Law Centre
- Law Centre-I
- Law Centre-II
Duration & Degree
3 years (divided into 6 semesters)
On completion, you get an LLB Degree recognized by the Bar Council of India (BCI).
DU 5-Year Integrated BA LL.B Program
What is it?
The 5-year BA LL.B is an integrated law program for students who want to pursue law right after completing Class 12th. It combines an undergraduate degree (BA) with a law degree (LLB).
Eligibility
- Must have passed Class 12 (any stream) with at least 45% marks (General category).
- Relaxation for reserved categories (OBC/SC/ST).
How to Get Admission?
- Admission to DU’s 5-year BA LL.B is based on the CLAT UG.
- Mode: Offline (Pen-Paper based test)
- Sections: English, General Knowledge, Logical Reasoning, Legal Aptitude, Quantitative Aptitude
- Merit list is prepared based on CLAT scores, and counselling is done for seat allocation.
- This program is offered in DU’s Faculty of Law, and is relatively new compared to the traditional 3-year LLB.
Duration & Degree
- 5 years (10 semesters)
- On completion, you get an Integrated BA LL.B Degree recognized by the BCI.
