What is DU CSAS?

DU’s Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS‑UG) is the digital platform where aspirants for undergraduate admission apply, list their preferred courses and colleges, and receive seat allocations based on their CUET‑UG scores, reservation categories, and preferences

How It Works: Step‑by‑Step Process

1. Phase I – Registration & Corrections

  • June 17, 2025: CSAS portal opens for Phase I registration

  • July 6–11, 2025 (till 11:59 PM): Correction window opens for candidates already registered in Phase I

2. Phase II – Preference Filling

  • July 8–14, 2025 (till 11:59 PM): Students submit or modify their course‑college preferences

  • July 14, 2025 (11:59 PM): CSAS automatically locks all preferences

3. Simulated Ranks & Preference Adjustments

  • July 15, 2025 (5 PM): Simulated ranks are released

  • July 15 (5 PM) to July 16 (11:59 PM): Candidates may adjust preferences once more

4. Round 1 – First Seat Allotment

  • July 19, 2025 (5 PM): First CSAS allocation list is published on ugadmission.uod.ac.in

  • July 19–21, 2025 (till 4:59 PM): Candidates must accept the seat online

    • After acceptance, colleges will verify documents from July 19–22 (4:59 PM)

    • July 23 (4:59 PM): Final date to pay admission fee online for Round 1

5. Round 2 – Second Seat Allotment

  • July 24, 2025 (5 PM): Vacant seats list drops

  • July 24 (5 PM)–25 (4:59 PM): Candidates can reorder preferences

  • July 28, 2025 (5 PM): Second CSAS allocation list is released

  • July 28–30, 2025 (till 4:59 PM): Seat acceptance window for Round 2

    • July 28–31 (4:59 PM): Colleges verify documents for Round 2

    • August 1 (4:59 PM): Final date to pay fee for second-round admissions

6. Next Steps

  • A third round, as well as spot mop‑up rounds, may follow based on seat availability after Round 2

  • Normally, DU begins classes after Round 2 concludes
